Dev Log #2


This devlog is actually posted on my patreon a while ago but I forgot to post it here. I'm so sorry orz

Hello everyone, this is Nell!

This past couple of months is kinda hard for me, so apologize if there is rarely any update. I will try my best to be more active in October and hopefully get better in the future.

Now on to the future update! Introducing "Anima Dominus", the hub/hq for your adventure of Boneka Ascension!

This is where you will do most of content for your progression and collection. Like, for example restoring HP/MP, crafting items, and interacting with your dolls.


Here's my totally spoiler-free CG scene! XD

For you who noticed why the main character level up slower than normal, that's because your main method to level up is by using your doll and absorbing their EXP. But worry not, I won't make level grinding too hard (cause I'm not trying to make my game as hardcore or something), I will explain more when the update is ready!

And here's the main menu to interact with your doll! And by popular demand, I will also implement different costumes for every doll moving forward. This definitely will expand my workload quite a bit, but i know it will be worth it in the end! XDD

Seriously though, thanks for the update, good to know you've been working on this.

So just out of curiosity, since they are going to be turned into dolls, can you change their personalities? The robotic-drone state sometimes irks me wrong when it reminds me I destroyed all shreds of personality (not asking to change it though, I think you are among the very few who does it and I want to see what you do with this) and, at the same time, if there is no personality, that means we should be able to imprint or mold A personality, right?

Now, I still remember my classes of coding, so I won't ask you something like that when you are working first on the RPG/gameplay aspects of the game and, so far, what I ask is for interactions (the personality changes could be influencing the gameplay, but I think it can be focused on later) which aren't as vital as the gameplay and the story.
